Winter Festival on 27 November




Cherwell School community come and bask in the warmth and sparkle of the Cherwell School Winter Festival on Friday, 27th November, 5 - 7pm, and help us raise funds for the South Site Garden Rooms Project. There's plenty to do for the whole family with festive food, drink, stalls and activities including a treasure hunt for younger children. 

Festivities start at 5pm with an acrobatic display by the Cheerleaders in Gym 1 and festive artwork from the students. 

Gym 1 - Cheerleaders Performance, followed by music around the piano. If you can play an instrument or sing, come and make festive music with us. Want a slot to perform? Email: winterfestival@cherwellpta.org

Corridors and Halls - Stalls offering gifts and stocking fillers, clubs selling goods to raise funds and buskers playing music

Gym 2 - Have fun with the Year 7 stalls and games

Canteen area - Cafe offering multi-cultural festive foods and a family zone with crafts and games for younger children

There's a Chocolate Tombola and Raffle and an official launch of the South Site Garden Rooms project so lots of different things to engage with

To Make the Day a Big Success You can Help By:

Market Stalls: Book a table space to sell high-quality gifts or crafts (and give us 10% in return) through Mary at winterfestival@cherwellpta.org

Sign up to a half hour slot at volunteer sign-up for the following:
Helping to set up at the beginning/clear away and running the festival
Serving in the cafe
Helping in the family zone
Selling raffle tickets
Running chocolate tombola stand

Donate
Raffle: Non-perishable luxury items for hampers, vouchers for Boots, WH Smiths etc, holidays in the Caribbean (one can dream) or gifts
Please bring in by Thursday, November 26th to south site reception

Chocolate Tombola: Empty those cupboards of (in-date chocolate boxes and bars and take advantage of all the discounts currently around (e.g. chocolate oranges for £1) - this is one of our most popular stalls
Please bring in by Thursday, November 26th to south site reception

Cafe: Bring buffet food that is easy to hand out on a plate, multi-cultural festive foods that celebrate the diversity of Cherwell School. Bottles of wine or non-alcoholic drinks also welcome. 
Please bring in by 5pm on Friday, November 27th to south site reception. If possible please label if vegetarian or for any allergies, nuts, gluten-free etc.

Celebrate and Spend
Help us make the Winter Festival the best ever by bringing plenty of cash to spend and your cheque books - it would be terrible if you ran out of money just as you saw the perfect Christmas gift!
